Rumor also has it there is a firmware update, but the debate is if it is an upgrade to Win CE 5 or really just a firmware. Regardless, $15 is pretty reasonable if you ask me.

It wold be nice if you could offer a map set that could track you in the woods, off road. I had hoped to use my 550 in my Jeep doing trail riding and some extreme offroad. The software does not do so well off of roads.

Sorry, Viv, this is a pretty old post and I’ve moved onto a Tom Tom and using my Tmobile G1 for GPS navigation.
I’m closing this post to comments since the majority of them are about getting map updates, and I just haven’t kept up with the Mio world. Good luck, all!
