I got this when my co. refreshed our Lenovos to Dells, with XP SP3 already on. I had assumed it was a Dell hardware issue - but after reading this, I renamed &quot;Hewlett-Packard Officejet V40 Scanner&quot; to &quot;V40&quot; - and we&#039;re away!
