You might have better luck using the &quot;unsupported&quot; console on tty1.</description>

		<description>There are command line features for VMWare.  On centos I use /usr/bin/vmware-cmd.  You can use this to start or stop VMs.   I used it as part of a backup script for VMServer 1.0.6.</description>
