My phone falls into the latter category. I don't want to have to be needing to make an important call and find out something isn't working because somewhere, someone changed an API and my hack no longer works. Thats why I only once jailbroke my iPhone (it was neat having the unix cli on my phone) and didn't bother after the new firmware came out.
