I agree, it's far from perfect. But consider the employer point of view. For that job you applied for, they probably received 100's or even 1000's of resumes. Employers are constantly looking for ways to weed through the mountain of applicants, especially in this economy. One place I interviewed did a personality test. I had fun with it. I didn't let it freak me out, I was honest, but drew pictures, asked questions back. I thought it was bordering on being a jackass. You know what? They called me back! They liked it! I applied for a bank job at TD latetly, I was asked to call in for an interview to find that I will ansswer to questions asked by a machine that will record my answers, how lame and square is that?
